STEEL STRAPPING
Our steel straps are crafted to ensure high quality without compromise, providing exceptional physical and geometrical properties simultaneously. Each millimetre of the strap undergoes a state-of-the-art heat treatment process using PLC-controlled automation that delivers superior elongation, shock resistance, and break strength. Our automated quenching process ensures uniform grain structure across the entire length of the strap, while the heat treatment produces a distinctive blue-shimmering oxide layer that acts as a natural barrier against corrosion.

There are medium duty applications that don't demand very high break loads and elongations as in our Ultra Prime Grade high tensile strapping. To cater this segment, we have developed a special grade product as an economical alternative to the high tensile strapping at the same time ensuring excellent elongation and higher break loads than regular duty steel strapping.

ULTRA PRIME is a medium carbon steel strapping that is heat treated to produce a product which combines high strength and elongation. The special heat treatment process improves the mechanical properties of the steel straps. This provides the parameters of high strength and elongation and achieves an even higher shock resistance. The result is a tremendous strength and extremely high consistency together with an excellent elongation property of up to 12%. High tensile straps is the ultimate solution for heavy-duty applications such as hot and cold rolled coils, including for use in the steel industry. ULTRA PRIME straps is the product of choice for the heaviest applications.

Winding Types
PLC controlled winding process – Ensures uniform winding & tension across the coil
Ribbon Winding
A conventionally wound ribbon coil is made out of a single steel strip that is coiled over and over until the maximum OD tolerance is reached, much like a roll of tape. This is the most popular winding technique. The steel strap is lengthened to the proper size. This works well for packaging that is done by hand. Coils can be as heavy as 55 kg.
Mill Winding
This is mainly used for winding straps with a width less than 20 mm; the winding is similar to a fishing reel. It provides a single steel strap longer than any possible ribbon roll, reducing the frequency of reel replacement. This is suited for manual and semi-automatic packaging operations. The coils weigh 55 kg.
Super Jumbo C0il
Oscillating rolls are wound for a longer duration, reducing the frequency of coil replacement until the limit is reached. Strapping heads are primarily used in fully automated applications. These non-twisting coils maintain their mechanical properties along the wire consistently. The coils weigh 500 kg.

All the tolerance levels of KRISHCA Steel Strapping meet international standards EN 13246:2001 & ASTM D-3953.

Product Finish
Our Steel Strappings are treated with a Wax coating finish. This lubrication allows the strapping to flow smoothly in automatic machines, tools and around corners of the products.
Blued Tempered & Waxed
The most cost effective customizable option available to you undergoes a flaming process and is waxed.
Painted & Waxed
The annealed strap is painted for better rust resistance, and it is less abrasive. It is made available to you in black, brown, and other colours.
Zinc C0ated & waxed
It provides greater rust resistance and is commonly used for prolonged outdoor storage.
